1. Privacy Practices.

This statement discloses the privacy practices for the Local POINT TV.com website (the "Website") a service provided by LOCAL POINT TV-TV, an Allbritton Communications Company. 2. Categories of Information.

The information gathered by LOCAL POINT TV falls into two categories: (1) information voluntarily supplied by users to the Website through optional registration and (2) tracking information gathered as users navigate through the Website.

3. Registration.

To make use of certain features on the Website users may need to register and to provide certain information as part of the registration process. (LOCAL POINT TV may ask, for example, for a user's name, email address, gender, age, and zip code.) The information supplied will help LOCAL POINT TV to offer more personalized features, to tailor the Website, and to make it more useful to users. Supplying such information is entirely voluntary. This children's privacy statement explains LOCAL POINT TV' practices with respect to the online collection and use of personal information from children under the age of thirteen, and provides important information on user's rights under federal law with respect to such information. LOCAL POINT TV does NOT knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. LOCAL POINT TV screens users who wish to provide personal information in order to prevent users under the age of thirteen from providing such information. If LOCAL POINT TV becomes aware that it has inadvertently received personally-identifiable information from a user under the age of thirteen, LOCAL POINT TV will delete such information from its records.
